Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• App – The Qrio Innovations mobile application is used to access charging services.
• Charging Station – Any electric vehicle charging point operated or supported by Qrio Innovations.
• QR Code – A scannable Quick Response code displayed on a Charging Station that allows Users to identify the station and initiate a charging Session through the App.
• Wallet – The in-app prepaid balance used to pay for charging sessions.
• User – Any individual who registers for or uses the App or charging services.
• Charging Session – A single charging event initiated through the App at a Charging Station.
• Operator – Qrio Innovations or any authorized third party managing or maintaining Charging Stations.

User Eligibility

• You are legally eligible to use our services and are authorized to operate the registered vehicle(s) or have permission from the owner.
• You are responsible for anyone you allow to use your account or vehicles under your account.
• You are not restricted by law from using our services.
• All information you provide is accurate and up to date.
• You have the legal right to use the payment methods provided and authorize us to charge for services used.

Account Registration

• Users must create an account to access charging services.
• You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details.
• Any activity performed through your account will be considered your responsibility.

Wallet and Payments

• The app uses a wallet top-up system for EV charging payments.
• Users must top up their wallet using supported payment methods such as PayHere.
• All payments are processed securely by trusted third-party payment processors.
• Wallet balances are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Charging will begin only after confirming a sufficient wallet balance.

Charging Services

• Users can scan the QR code on the charging point to start a charging session.
• Charging fees are calculated based on energy usage (kWh), duration, and station rates.
• Users are responsible for ensuring correct vehicle connection during charging.
• Qrio Innovations is not responsible for damages caused by incorrect vehicle handling or user negligence.

Service Availability

• We aim to provide reliable services, but charging station availability may vary.
• Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, or technical issues.

User Responsibilities

Users agree not to:

• Misuse or tamper with charging stations or equipment
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems, app, or network
• Abuse promotions or exploit system vulnerabilities
• Provide false or misleading information

Note: Violation of these responsibilities may lead to account suspension or legal action.

Refunds

Refunds will be handled according to our Refund Policy. Refunds may apply in cases of:

• Failed charging sessions
• Technical errors
• Duplicate payments

Refund processing timelines depend on your payment service provider.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we, our directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from user error or negligence, vehicle damage due to incorrect charging setup, third-party system failures, or service interruptions, delays, or unavailability, and our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Amendments and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, update, or terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from your use of the Qrio Innovations App or EV charging services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Before taking legal action, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith discussion. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights provided under Sri Lankan law.
